There is a rumor flying around that you've licensed Tohru Fujisawa's Rose Hip Rose, is it true? If so, any relase date?

Yes, it has been announced as licensed. The first volume is currently scheduled for November. I'm still confused about whether we're doing anything with the chapters that were released in the magazine but never made it to a book, though.

Thanks for the reply! I'm glad to hear it, since I'm a big fan of Fujisawa manga. ^^
So, June is Shonan Jun'ai Gumi, and November Rose Hip Rose. What a great year!

Sorry, bumping the thread a little.

I recalled the previous announcement was that Rose Hip Rose got licensed. You may know how suprised I was to see this (http://fs.thewafflehouse.net/scans/temp/TP_ads.jpg) with my new manga today.

So is it Rose Hip Rose? or Rose Hip Zero? Those are two different series... >.><.< I think the readers will be happy to read either, and since RHR came out first (in actual time), but RHZ is chronologically before RHR in story time, I supposed it doesn't matter which one get printed first. Clear indication would be nice though.

Also, if it's RHZ that is being released this week, is RHR also licensed? o.o;;

Yes, as I said above, Rose Hip Rose is licensed. However, after March, Rose Hip Zero also got licensed and we decided to release that first instead. So Rose Hip Zero is the one now coming out here, and Rose Hip Rose will follow sometime later. The OTHER Rose Hip series that's currently coming out in Japan, I'm not sure when that will fit into the mix.

It's from the creater of GTO!!!! I think I'll check it out. It's coming in November for the U.S right?

Yes, Rose Hip Zero volume one will be out this month. Definitely check it out if you're a fan of GTO. RHZ promises to be an interesting read.
