RSOM entry page count?

Well, I'm really confused. Before, as far as I know, it was okay to make your entry go over 20 pages--it's just that you'd only submit those first 20 pages to the contest (and then, if you won, you'd send the rest in, I think).

But on the rules for RSOM 7, they say to just plain not make your entry go over 20 pages. Period.

So, what is it? Can we make the entry go over the page count limit for this next contest or not?

As far as I've seen, they've never accepted entries longer than 20 pages.

Well, for example, in the very first RSOM contest, the entry "Trickster" was 25 pages long, but it was still published in the book. And, in the same volume, the grand prize winner's entry, "Devil's Candy," was 21 pages long.

They've never gone too far over the limit, but they have...unless the rules were different for the first contest?

The rules for book 1 were actually different- the limit then was 25 pages but since the first book it's been 20 pages...RSOM 7 is no different. ^^;
