mini skirts or Jeans???

What do you guys like? Most of my friends wears jean, because they are in "style". But what about mini skirts? Are they last century now? What do you girls out there think? (boys too if you are interested)

I never thought of jeans as "in style." I just wear them as a casual piece. I'm not a huge fan of mini-skirts, though. In fact, I haven't worn a skirt in almost a year.

Over jeans and a mini? I'd pick the skin tight jeans, I belive skirts should not be that short. I wear skirts often and they ar normally around my knees or ancle lenght. They was I see it if someone where to take a pic of me would I want to show that to my daughter in a few years?? or how would it look for me to wear a mini while taking her for a walk? she's almost 8 months and I'm only 21 (but look younger) I get more unwanted attention for that fact alone.

Half way between knee and butt is good. leavesto the imagination,but can still be sexy. As for work knee length all the way. And they got to be girly because I wouldn't wear them any other way. She said no and i said "But it has good meaning!" i wear black every day...i'd have to say jeans when it's 50 degrees F and lower, and short shorts and skirts if there isn't a brezze. i have found a way to get black into my skirts. I have a knee-length black, leather skirt. i like that a lot. And i have other denim and flowy knee-length skirts, and one dressy skirt. i have one denkim miniskirt, and i don't like it that much. So, tie between ripped jeans and knee-length and below skirts.

The high school i'm going to this fall (gr. 9! w00t!) has many options. It has pants, kilts (which are basically plaid skirts) and tights are the leg options. A lot of the girls wear the kilts, even in the winter. Yeah, that's how good the uniforms actually are. Not dorky uniforms. I really like the school.

Miniskirts......... I hate. Especially macro- or micro- minis, or whatever the hell they call them nowadays. They were common dress inmedieval/Victorian/Ninthcentury/feudal/prehistoric times. (Or, in the prehistoric case, people wore no clothes at all) Basically pants for women began somewhere in the 60s...Women were frowned upon,
or shunned by society, if they wore pants before then. That, and it's awful trying to play Frisbee in a skirt. :P My life is just too busy for me to wear skirts. And that is the extent of my knowledge.

Skirts have become progressively way too short. They hardly cover one's butt anymore and it's not something that I want to see or wear. But this trend is in jeans for guys and girls. Isn't it uncomfortable to have your pants down past your butt? Wouldn't you feel a draft or something? But I must admit seeing cute boxers on a hott guy isn't that bad ;) But there is a limit to all things.

Girls should be able to where whatever they want jeans, mini skirts, etc. It shouldn't matter...I don't think that you can say all girls who were mini skirts are snobby and slutty like some think and I don't think you can say that all girls that were jeans are cool and down to Earth which is so not true. I will it admit I am one of those guys (that is not a pervert) that when he sees a cute girl in a mini-skirt he turns stupid and does/says stupid things (at least I admit it). My friend Ashley weres jeans and extremley mini mini-skirts over the jeans which actually looks really cool and she does it all the time. Oh what realy pisses me off though is since i was in like third grade I always wore plad and realy ripped blue jeans, etc. You know the grunge look cause that has always been my favorite music genre and so I dressed that way and I met a lot of fellow grunge kids who did the same later. In ninth grade it was even worse because girls use to make fun off our plad and our jeans but two years later (now), every prep wheres ripped jeans they actually sale preripped and acid washed jeans at prep stores like A&F, American Eagle, etc. I mean it's stupid and ironic all at the same time...Sorry I got off topic.

It's best to just wear what you feel comfortable in, however not everyone can pull off miniskirts to be blunt about it. I can't say too much though, having never worn a skirt in my life [I should hope not, it may leave some horrendous images in the minds of other] but I do think girls usually look better in jeans, unless of course a skirt suits the outfit and they can of course pull it off.

Depending on what part of Dallas I'm frequenting, I wear what the dress code their is.
South Dallas: jeans with no skin showing...I prefer life to death.
North Dallas: jeans, often torn, in a comfortable atmosphere
The gayberhood: jean skirt, though longer than a mini
Highland park: a miniskirt showing entirely too much skin (which is why I don't go there except maybe once a year)

I usually wear cargos, but yeah. Jeans. Definately. Not only are they more comfortable, but they don't usually give people the wrong impression, reveal parts of yourself you normally wouldn't want revealed, and so on. Plus, most of the miniskirts these days aren't even that fasionable in my opinion, and just make girls look trashy. I think that if girls want to wear a skirt, they should at least look presentable.

personally I think girls look good in both depends on the weather altough in NC It can be 10 below and some girls at my school wear mini skirts and flip flops.

I think... That everyone has good and bad parts of their body. If you ahve good legs, SHOW 'EM OFF. But if you know that you don't. Wear jeans.
