Has anyone else seen this movie?
It's based off the manga (and is suppost to be the same story line, I guess people are upset about it). A lot o people say the acting sucked, but I really enjoyed the movie.

I haven't had the chance to, but I might borrow the DVD from a friend. I love the manga, so I thought I'd check out the movie sometime soon. The cast sounds pretty promising ... Ryuhei Matsuda! >D

I am sooo dissapointed in the movie.. jesus, it turned out that I was correct, they left out too many scenes, that I know I would difinately disliked.. but it was fun seeing the live action.. the acting was okay, wasn't anything great.. I just can't wait to see the anime, yay! :D Oh, and it did follow up the plot a little bit, they just left out a whole lot of scenes.. important scenes at that, and I hated the ending.. gawd. the story was soo much more.. maybe for the people that hasn't read the manga.. they would like.. but I read the manga till vol 14.. so I'm pretty dissapointed with the movie. bleh. XD I am still a nana/ai yazawa fan. :)

The music is awesome. Suits the Nana series perfectly. Yeah they left out too much. But then again that happens with pretty much every movie. The acting was pretty good and I enjoyed watching it.

Ive only got vol 1 of the manga but love it completely - Im in love with yazawa's art work and hence worship the parakiss series.
Im guessing its not very good then.

Haven't seen it yet, but really want to. But like, when i saw the ppl whos acting out the characters, Ren looks....ummm, chubby and not at all like the manga... ><

I am hoping that the second movie has a little more depth to it.. I think they just tried to squeeze too much into the first one and ended up leaving out a lot of key points...

But I really liked the music and the actors :)

I don't think it got fansubbed so I can't really watch it...
I read the first two manga though, viz's translation. It's fantastic and Ai Yazawa's art is, as always, the best around.

Umm, Hyde isn't in it. Sadly. . . I do believe he did a son for the Nana manga cds. But I am not sure. And ifyou look hard enough (youtube) you can find it. I wanted to get the dvd so bad (the special edition looks so cool) but Japanese DVDs are so expensive. Does anyone know if they are planning on making a second movie?

She dropped outta highschool to pursue her dreams, and now she's a model/actress/singer. Who's more perfect for the role? haha
