Artist needs help...-_-...

Hey all,:D
I'm doing a manga book over the summer with some friends :cool: and i wanted to see if any one had some sudgestion or tips open for discussion for this artist:confused: ...yeah... i'm going to be doing the art of the book :o so if any one has anything i'm here to read....thank you ^_^

sup ya to draw manga is very hard but after the first one you make it tend to get easyer * my tip find your own way of makeing it dont copy any 1 else's drawing style*

What kind of help are you asking for? There are a lot of elements involved in making a comic, so it's hard to provide general advice. If you want artistic advice, I'm seconding black_myst's suggestion that you post some art here and have people provide concrit. If you want other advice, well...just specify the kind you need, and I'm sure you'll find at least one person who's willing to help.

One thing I'd definitely recommend is learning to manage your time wisely. Figure out how long it generally takes you to draw a page, and plan accordingly. Also, make sure you know about how many pages you expect to have. I made the mistake of not really doing either when I did my first complete comic. I ended up drawing 60 pages instead of my initial plan of 15, so I ended up having to rush rush rush to have it done by the due date. @_@

umm tips...dont fight to much with your friends while making it. me and my friends tried to do that, but we got in a fight over it and never finished......we are planning 2 finish it this summer though.((i was the artist too, tough job this summer im also helping with plot since one of my friends is going to Japan*lucky her*))

yes, I love the love triangles. you can add some yaoi secnes too, and some action. Love the spicy things. :)

I (what, third?) the suggestion to post your work in Share Your Manga section. Also, give us something you need improvement on!!! We poor souls cannot read the minds of people over the internet. There is more to be said than that! And if you gave us more information on what the manga WAS, we may be able to help you. There's one more suggestion I'd like to second: Read the ENTIRE Ask the Artists section about these kinds of things. Some of your questions may already have been answered. ^_^

Hmm, I second what every one's said so far... you gave very little infomation on what you needed help on. There are very talented people on this forum, so you shoulden't have a problem on almost any problem. ^^ Heck, I'll even try to help!
