What are the odds of these manga being reprinted?

I was wondering if Parasyte or Sailor Moon could be reprinted unflipped. I'm curious if anyone has read these Manga and liked them? Parasyte is pretty good and sometimes makes you think about man's place in the world. It also has some good gory action too:). I remember the Sailor moon manga moving at much faster pace then anime and that was refreshing. The art for the manga was beautiful and sorta close to the style of MARS. I wonder how many remember reading Parayte and Sailor Moon back in the old Mixx days, I feel old now:p

Please reprint Sailormoon~~ I had almost the whole series before, but sold them to my friend, because I didn't like it that it was flipped, and I hated how the older books were made... they were easy to snap the spine. Japan reprinted Sailormoon in a new edition, knocking it down to 14 volumes from 18 (they just put more acts in each volume.... so nothing is missing) Also, there are new covers, and a couple colored pages, plus stickers~ ^__^;; I'm tempted to buy the japanese version, but if Tokyopop does reprint Sailormoon, I'll buy it for sure ^__^

The odds, at least for a reprint of Sailor Moon, are slim to none. Tokyopop's been trying for a while, but Naoko Takeuchi has had numerous falling-outs with her publishing company, and both parties are reluctant to give the rights up again. They mentioned something about this at Otakon.

Another detrimental factor is that long old comics tend to sell poorly these days. Granted, Sailor Moon isn't all that old and is and always will be a fan favorite, but it's likely that the market will see it and believe itself to be beyond that.

I wish Parasyte and Sailor Moon would be reprinted as well. I haven't all of the SM manga, but I did end up getting my hands on Parasyte. Volume 5 was nearly impossible to find and I feel that people who don't get the opportunity to read the manga are really missing out. I love that series.

I remember Sailor Moon from Mixx and Smile. It was so awesome seing a magazine like that back then. And Sailor Moon was on top. I'm missing many volumes from my collection and having a newer version, unflipped would be a dream come true.

Wow! Naoko Takeuchi did such an ace job on the new covers! I would love it if Tokyopop redid Sailor Moon, like how they did Magic Knight Rayearth, Peach Girl, and Cardcaptor Sakura. *sigh* My copies are falling apart from reading them so much!
Oh wow! I like how the reissued series in Japan now has two seperate volumes for all the oneshots that Takeuchi-san wrote/drew. ^^ So wonderful! *happy dance*

I know that a few Borders and Waldensbooks stores have Clover floating around if you ask, since I know there's a few in the back in overstock at the Waldens I work at. I'll look up Clover, Sailormoon, and Parasyte and see what comes up in the computer tomorrow, I never know what the DC will have hiding when I go looking for Manga ^^

I have started buying the new Japanese versions though. I've gotten up to #9. :D I wish TOKYOPOP would redo the series, but ...

Why do most people like clover? I bought based on reviews and I didn't like that much:(. The artwork is beautiful but the story seemed so out there. I remember that you had to read the books in reverse order ex. vol.4 happened first chronologically in the series.

I don't think Saint Tail is likely, but I could be wrong. The other three are possibilities. We definitely want to do Sailor Moon if we can arrange it. Clover could happen. I want Parasyte, but there are no promises.

Wow, even though I already have all the series of Sailor Moon in French, I wouldn't mind being able to check out re-printed ones in English. I so love Sailor Moon as an anime series and I wouldn't mind investing in it.

I own all the older prints of Sailor Moon most of which the pages do not stay in the binding. (I can litteraly take out each page an read it) It'd be nice to own whole copies and seeing it re-printed would be so awesome. Actually they reprinted Sailor Moon in Japan and it has new covers and the art is a little different as well. (A little treat from my uncle and his visit to Japan) It'd be really cool to see those versions printed in the US.

I also agree with reprinting Clover. Especially since I never got my hands on a copy of each book and it's a series I had always wanted to read.

I'd agree with a reprinting of Parasyte. My sister and I had an extremely hard time getting I believe volume 8 a few years back. Judging from what's been released and selling recently I think it could be a wise investment.

i thought the plot was good none the less, i knew about whold out of order thing. i think it's ment to be that way. thought the ordering did strike me as kind of odd.

:D OMG!!!! I would so Love for tokyopop to reprint Sailor Moon.I Love Sailor Moon and I think it would be sooo cool if the reprinted it and if they also made or more like put out the Anime under there names,if you know what i mean. That would be so cool,grr now i am going to get my hopes up.oh well I guess all i can do is add the Sailor Moon dvd's to my wishlist.:(
