I need your personal opinion.
I have created a manga with genres of romance, action, drama and some what fantasy.

In my manga i've created 3 worlds (with the storyline it makes sence [laughs]) one world is our normal world known as the World of Man, another is known as the World of Fantasy -nicknamed the Wolf Kingdom, this is because the dominit (mind my spelling!!) creatures are wolves and wolf demons alike -this is due to a war that makes sence if you read the story line. Note: it may sound like the typical world of a boaring full on unrealistic fantasy manga though i took that into concideration and made the Wolf Kingdom a world that appears like medieval england and a feudal Japan (don't worry it works well although it sounds weird :D )

Then the 3rd world consists of Heaven and Hell and is known as the World of Dead.

There are be doughts in the fantasy genre in manga BUT i mean fantasy when i say a world of demons. the way fantasy in my manga plays out in a realistic format (with things as death and realistic tragidy with relationship probelms not only between couples but with families and the way of Japanese life clashing with the freedom do-what-ever way of life in Australia. (my main character Kahen Shinko's mother is Japanese when her father is Australian, very early on her father dies and as the story progresses Kahen's mother tries to force Kahen into marring an upperclassmen guy from her school that has always liked her (he's a jerk, idiot and only likes her for her beauty) but Kahen by this stage has fallen in love with Ashura, a wolf demon she meets early on and joins up with but soon the he (the grey-Wolf demon prince of the World of Fantasy end up going into a strong relationship (holding the story together -it is alot more of a romance and action/drama genred manga than anything) {okay maybe because this manga's aimed age group is 16+ there are some sugestive themes that would make the reader think/know that they're doing it together :D but it does work well when Kahen has a daughter near the end.

My manga is about 20-25 volumes, it may be long for a beginer BUT it does fall over what would be called in anime, 3 serise (or that the title changes from 'Wolf Emerald' to 'Wolf Emerald -Maiden of Hell' then to 'Wolf Emerald -War for the 3 worlds' leading to the end of the manga (but not once is there a drag or something that doesn't need to be in it, the story keeps flowing to keep the reader in interest and things that accour at the start that at first don't make sence sooner or latter do as the plot unfolds to find the dreaded Wolf Emerald that who's to have been reincarnated is the main character Kahen "but what if the hero to save us...becomes the one thing she swore to destroy?..." (story quote) but of course her lover Ashura saves her in his last etempt. and many other things join up (like the war fought by the Wolf Emerald aganist the state that she destroyed but died after...the State created a cimeria that turns out to the antagonist of my manga and is following through with the mission of the STATE,

okay i'm done :D
what do yoy think?

Erisu-chan, to be bluntly honest, this was not the place to put this...And if you truly, really want the editors to see it, then make a pitch. Many of us have already expressed that it sounds fairly cliched, and that you need to show us the art behind it in the "Share your Manga" forum. As much as I love offering help and assistance where I'm needed, you're beginning to get on a few of the other poster's nerves. Incessantly posting about the story itself is not going to get you anywhere, except perhaps banned, as you continuously open a new forum every time you do.

http://www.tokyopop.com/aboutus/manga_guidelines.php <--- These are the guidelines for a manga submission. Let me quote:

...please do not expect a reply from our editorial department and do not contact us to ask about your submission.
And also:
Three-Book Series Plan:
One to three pages giving us an idea of how the concept would break down into three 160-page graphic novels. Keep in mind that each volume should be self-contained.

*slaps forehead* Cakes, that honestly wasn't the point...and someone else has already said that even being fairly cliched isn't that bad, because many stories are recycled again as very well-done stories. The point is, cakes, that you really shouldn't make the same posts over and over again and re-make forums about the same topic. If you want our honest opinion on your manga, you need to show us the art and a sample of your sequential abilities. But please post it where it needs to go. TP execs aren't going to listen to you on a forum--they just aren't, because that wasn't the purpose of them making this forum. It's unprofessional and it's honestly spam in the way that you're presenting the information.

did you at least read it all (i know TP want look at my work through the board it's just for other peoples opinions so i can cut and change my work to make it better -therefore giving it a better chance when i eventually submit it

it's unprofessional and it's honestly spam in the way you're presenting the infomation

i really wasn't trying to pull it off as professinal and i just think that to get alot of peoples attention that i'll set it out that way...kay (not trying to be rude or sound angry here mate it's just...you know!!)

What did you just take medieval England and splash in some kimonos, samurai swords, and japanese terms?

And to be sure you know what you are talking about which of the periods in feudal Japan are you using? How many periods are there in the era of feudal japan and what years were each period chronologically?

I just want to be sure you "oh so mature Australian of 14 years" know what you are talking about. But since I am so immature you probably don't have time for an immature being such as myself to ask such questions.

And if you can answer those questions I am sure you can answer these questions too:

What were the governments of the feudal era?

What period was each government set up in?

What was the most tramatic of the Kamkura period?

What is the Muramochi Shogunite also known as?

When was Japan's first contact with the west and how did it happen?

In the 17th century why did Japan's Tokugawa Shogunate place foreigners under tighter restrictments?

Answer these and I will bring more!
