I'd say they both try. And occassionally they succeed. Very occasionally on the part of Randy "The Dawg" Jackson. More often on the part of Ryan "Ain't I Cute?" Seacrest. :3

Ryan Seacrest. Him! Yeah, well I noticed that he fails. He tries to put him Simon in his spot but fails. I mean come on! I recently heard one of Ryan Seacrest remarkes and loved how Simon retaliated by a ..."metrosexual" remark. Heh

Simon and Ryan totally are in love. XD haha. Okay. I'm not entirely sure how serious I am about it, but I swear they flirt though they both swear they're straight they have that sort of dynamic...

And I'm not really someone who normally slashes characters, let alone people.

But, yeah. Part of why they "fight" and Ryan tries to one-up Simon is that it invokes a touch of controvercy into the show (which spikes ratings up) so they're either doing it on their own or it's in their contract, part of it is Ryan honestly (IMHO) sticking up for the contestants, and part of it is behind-the-scenes stuff. Whether that b-t-s stuff is attraction or irritation is up to them, I guess. XD

I can't stand that show. It messes with all other programming on Fox Its bad enough 1 night week but 2 is ridiculous. CAn you people find something better to do with your time than watch things like that. My self I did I go to school for architecture, work, and study for EMT exams all full time. I'd probaly kill myself if I sat around watching that. And don't forget there is a problem with obesity in America d@$n I'm little overweight but still not too big I can't fit in a car or in an office chair.There I spoke my peace now let me be.:mad:

you are sooooooooo right! i can't stand sanjaya. he was okay as a contestant up until the hollywood week, but after that i want simon to kick him off the show.
he's the worst singer in the top 9.
he shouldn't have even been in the top 12.
we lost so many incredible singers just because idol is completely rigged.
think about it. chris daughtry in season 5 was voted out. HOW? he was an awesome singer. he should've won not taylor.
anyway, even though he didn't win, he's still a star in my eyes. the dude's soled over millions.

There's a site called "VoteForTheWorst.com" that's rounding up people to vote for Sanjaya. They're trying to piss off the producers. I don't think it's cute. They're all trying to be anti-American Idol yet they're on another bandwagon. :rolleyes:

It is about the package. But AI doesn't have to make it that obvious. :rolleyes: They've done a good job about keeping their hypocrisy on the down-low in the past.

Taylor Hick's album nose-dived! xD I think a lot of people will pass on Season 7 if Sanjaya wins.

On a side note: So far racy pics of Antonella Barbara, Alaina Alexander, and most recently Sanjaya's older sister have all consecutively appeared on the Internet. Who else doesn't think this was accidental? :rolleyes:
