good story... i found the how to Tone on the TP website...
Pop Mhan did a good job with his step by step... i tried it and it worked..

i linked to his board...he's a very cool guy. Very friendly.

then i found some old Spyboy books i had that he did.... and pow! i'm a fan!

it's a grand idea, i love his artwork...

Sweet!!! Nice to see that Blank has a couple fans here. I'm the editor of the book and I've gotta second everything you said about Pop. He's one of the nicest creators you're ever likely to meet. I'm glad to see his toning tutorial has actually helped some of you out! That's really good to know! (We editors help put together the How-Tos, but you never really know if anyone's making use of them.)

At any rate, I apologize for the delay in getting chapter 2 up. File it under technical difficulties. It will be in the April edition of Manga Online, and I promise you, it will be worth the wait!

Are you asking why it's called "Blank"? It's the assumed name of the main character. (He has amnesia, so he starts calling himself Blank since he can't remember his real name.)

That's crazily true. Pop's an awesome guy, and a really great encouragement to younger artists. It's nice to have people around who care about the future of comics, rather than just their own standing in the world.

Thanks fer the props, fellas. Helping other artists helps me out as well. When people ask me difficult questions, I have to do that much more research. It all comes back around! :)

Considering that your book's primarily about scantily clad girls, I can only imagine what sort of "research" you've been doing lately. ;)

AH yesh!...I must say....he's a FABULISCOUS ARTEEEEEEEST and a rootin tootin down to earth all round nice guy! XD

Next time we meet...make sure we DON'T pick a table where some con volunteer will chase us away from an UNOCCUPIED table while we were oogling over eachothers work...cause GODS forbid we stand at a table that won't be used till the NEXT day!>,< *shakes fists* can you say 'power trip'!? Xp

Yeah, that was pretty lame, but I did get enough of a sneak peek at My Cat Loki to be a fan for life! :)

Next time around I'll fanboy oogle your work over lunch or some venue like that!

OH HEY! speaking of which! are you going to Otakon this year? perhaps we can do lunch! LOL XD MCL comes out at the end of July...so JUST IN TIME!^,^ and Blank SHOULD be out by then, right! XD

LOL...that's RIGHT! XD yea...that wasn't until after the TP Industry Panel^^; and I STILL feel bad about not saying goodbye;__; they ushered us out of that room too damn fast! >.< We'll have to make up for it this year...again...that is if Pop dear is going^^; *crosses fingers*
