I was wodnering. I haven't seen anything new or heard anything at all about this series for ages. I was beginign to wonder. What happened to this series? Was it discontinued? The manwha author stop? No licences? Simply not popular enough?

I dunno if it is the latter but ne one else like this manwha series?

I mean it spawned a game, and the game spawned an anime, so surely it was not the latter...

I love it, and it's one of my top ten favorite comic series' of all time. Knowing this TP stopped production to put me in a Chaos induced stupor... Naturally ;)

I heard they all died in the end, but my friends could have been joshin' me.

The author stopped. When he came to Anime Expo in 2004, everyone asked him to start again, but he's been involved in his online game. We editors at TOKYOPOP are just as sad as you that the series was not concluded. Many people are trying to find a way, but as to when and in what form the continuation of Ragnarok will take, I can't say for sure just yet...

Well... If he stopped working on his book to make RO and RO2 then I'm ok with that! :D Norman recruits ftw!!

Ahh, I see. Well, I suppose that could count as "everyone dying in the end".

I miss Ragnarok! I was seriously getting into the story when the GNs stopped filling up the book store shelves where I live:( Hopefully Myung Jin-Lee will finish the book.

I want Ragnarok to come back as well. I know the author is very involved with the online game and anime development, but why can't he get his studio to do a little work on the side?

Keep in mind that sometimes manga series can also stop without an explanation. Like I.N.V.U. [I envy you], sometimes it's just stopped because it has not become as popular as originally supposed. Or the series just ended because it has not been completed or is in process of being translated from Japan.

it bugs me that Ragnarok stopped. Is there no chance of finishing it? I mean, it stopped pretty harsh at volum 10. There *should* be more. And why release it in USA in the first place when they are not going to finish it? I prefer never to read it than read it and never gonna know the end. :(

And the anime sucks... (If it is Ragnarok: The Animation you all talk about)

I am not so sure (referring to the last comment). Even though production has stopped (for now?) I still enjoy reading the books and I think that even if I knew it ended the way it did I would still have read the books. I like the story and I am glad that I read it.

You can always imagine an ending. Maybe the artist will post an ending Online or tell us in an Interview or something.
