I find the comics funnier than the cartoon, but the cartoon does have its glory moments.

I've both read the strip and seen the show and must say that I prefer the strip over the cartoon. Not to say that the cartoon isn't great or anything.

That is the funniest show I've ever seen in my life next to family guy
and in ever episode they always make you laugh from uncle ruckus to Gin Rummy.:)

ive i've seen the cartoon and i think it kicks butt. its so funny. in my opinion we need more cartoons that are out spoken,laugh out loud funny, and still smooth and swave.

i think its anime....based on eth fighting styles and the way some of it is drawn, you can tell that um....the creator is very much influenced by anime style.

The Boondocks is awesome. It has a humor that only select people are going to like, and that's ok, lots of shows are done up that way.

It works better animated than it did as a comic, altho the comic was awesome too.

I love this show because it's got lots of great jokes in it that we and sit around and laugh about for hours and relate it to something dumb someone we know did. It's just great... but not for everyone. ^^

You know...I think the show is pretty clever. It's funny and the animation quality is excellent, but I think they could've done away with most of the profanity. If they had, then Fox would've probably picked it up, and it would've been seen by a lot of more viewers.

And I like Huey and Riley...but maybe the casting director shouldn't have hired Regina King to voice act them. It's unrealistic that kids from inner city Chicago would sound like...four year olds with a sore throat.

Oh, and does anyone know what happened to Huey and Riley's parents?

Oh my God. I just saw the 'Gangstalicious' episode. It was hilarious. Riley goes to visit his favorite rapper in the hospital and he finds out that looks can be deceiving.

i've never read the comic strip, but i've only seen the first episode of the show and i thought it was pretty funny. however there was a very distubing part in the very beginning and anyone who has seen it uncut knows what i'm talking about.

lesean thomas is the guy who does both turtles and boondocks.

he didn't create the characters, but it's fair to say that he has alot more to do with the cartoon than mcgruder does.

I like the show-Hewie doesn't like anything or anybody pretty much. I have to say that I was a little nervous on how they were going to handle some of the viewpoints of the characters.

Both the strip and the cartoon are awesome! Unfortunately, I don't think the strip is coming back... it's been on hiatus for far too long now...
