Who here is an uber CSI nerd like myself? I've seen every episode of the original CSI, CSI: Miami, and CSI: New York, and I never tire of it.

My favorite of the three changes constantly, though. However, I think the original usually takes the top stop. Right now, I'm into Miami because... well, frankly, because of Ryan Wolfe.

Any other thoughts on this series?

Major fan odf the show myself - fave is the original, though i do like the other two series - just getting into the new series of NY and enjoying it so far!

Thumbs up for Ryan Wolfe!! Although i am convinced he's Miami's answer to Greg Sanders...they look very similar! Though no one can take Greg's place!

Haha, Ryan Wolfe and Greg Sanders? To me, Ryan seems much more serious than Greg. Then again, Greg has slowly becoming more mature as the original series continues.

In any case, both Ryan and Greg are awesomeness.

Their looks though....yeah, Greg's not as goofy, but he needs to fix his hair! I must display my distase of his hair right now ::happy now:: I like him on the field, though i liked him in the lab too...

N in Miami, we also have (well, in my house - i don't see anyone else doing what we do) what we call a pose counter for Horatio...that man poses waaaay too much! We counted seventeen on the last episode - and that's a tame night!

Haha, YES, I'm not the only one who noticed that! All the characters have their share of "cool one-liners", but Horatio goes overboard with them, I think. He always has to look cool while saying them, too.

Sometimes I wish someone would randomly run in and snatch his sunglasses, just to see what his reaction would be.

Whoa, awesome! Someone else sees it!
There's like five before the openign comes up too - it's just so amusing!

Maybe he'd cry....now THAT would be funny!

We're kinda convinced that he was a male model at some point...

Grissom usually gets them...and he has the attitude to go with - i still find it funny when he says "no" to Sara when she asks him to go to dinner with him - it's just the way he almosts laughs when he says it!

I watch it too much to notice these things...

Heh, I can't even imagine Horatio crying. But who knows? He might just break down after someone steals his coveted sunglasses.

Grissom is cool in a different way from Horatio and Mac Taylor. He doesn't try to act tough infront of anyone, but you know he really is. Even though he's not the most social person, he always knows what to say. Weird, huh?

I'm starting to wonder where the whole Grissom and Sara thing is going, if it's going anywhere at all. It's starting to mess with my miiind.

Never been able to take CSI seriously. Then they did that one with the gamers going on a killing spree and I satrted encouraging a boycott...

Yeah, I remember that episode. Can't say that I agreed with the way the portrayed gamers in general, but I also can't say that there aren't people out there crazy enough to do something like that.

That's true - Grissom's just Grissom - and so straight to the point it's refreshing!

If you listen really closely (If you haven't noticed it already) in the episode when Greg goes through the lab window (Play with Fire, was it?) When he checks she's okay he calls her 'Honey', and in Butterflied (I don't watch it so much i know the episode titles, honest....) he talks about having chose his job over the women he loved unlike the doctor - and she's awffy hostile to Sophia...the last ep i saw i though she was gonna go for her...so even if they don't admit it, something is lingering!

There's alot of tention going around that lab - for a while, there was a bit between Warrick and Catherine too... (Though that was never major, and kinda got kicked out on its own accord, but she did huff about it for a while!)

I think Horatio would loose the will to live if they got stolen - i think they're attached to him 24/7

I like Brass and Doc. Robbins too - they've had some amazing lines themselves...never forget the supporting roles!

Of course there aren't people crazy enough to do that. For one thing, despite what the media may tell you there's not a shred of evidence that anyone has ever tried to copy a video game. Psychologists can't find any evidence that games cause people to have murderous tendancys and to top it off, the crime rate has dropped steadily since 1992- the year DooM was released. More to the point, no game developer would give people guns and tell them to kill folk just to get publicity.

Oh, I definitely agree with that. I'm just saying that I don't doubt the human ability to do horrible things to each other just for the sake of oneself. This is also, however, entertainment/TV. Things happen there when they realistically wouldn't/shouldn't happen. I guess it just doesn't bother me as much.

@ SakuraRay: Yes, I noticed all those things as well. Although there's been a lack of Sara/Grissom interaction of late. Which is why I'm confused as to how they're going to deal with it. I guess we just have to wait and find out...

I've watched more or the original CSI then I have of the other two. Though I have to admit I've haven't seen an episode of NY yet! Love the original totally though and Maimi does have its ups from time to time. I haven't seen any of the more recent episodes what with having to fight my flatmates for the TV, they normally win cos it normally me against them. Plus they don't like it......I'll stop now.

The internet has stolen my free time.. But I used to watch the original CSI every Thursday... Now I'm lucky if I see it once in a month.

But in any case, even if the way that they handled cases wasn't actually like what real CSI do, I still found it entertaining to watch.
