New Forum Options

As you've noticed, the TP forums have upgraded to vBulletin® Version 3.7.1. Many new features, like social groups, friends and picture albums have been added. There may be more changes in the upcoming days. If you need some info or want to discuss and share comments, suggestions or complaints about the new options, please use this thread for open discussion. Thank You.

Also BTW, im case I've been giving everyone the impression I know what's going on here, I'm in the same situation as everyone else: this caught me off-guard and was a complete surprise to me as well.

Since I have a slight advantage of belonging to two very active forums with these features, I'll do my best to answer any and all questions. Thanks :)

Is it just me or does the quick reply box look smaller? Also, I thought we were gonna get a option for cake or pie.

1) It is smaller.

2) We tried however the frosting from the cake and the pie filling played havoc with the computer. We'll hopeful the pizza and chicken option works though.

When I get to meet him, then we'll all meet him (I know who it is however he still hasn't properly introduced himself to the forum)

Probably wants to get things in order or do the majority of the admin stuff 'behind the scenes' so to speak...don't know at the moment. In any event, I doubt we'll ever have a forum-friendly admin like TMF again (no knock against Peter or Jim: they were great in their own way).

Yep, you're correct. I'll let them know about the glitch (unless they intend to stop using color) among other things. I've seen a few other forum glitches from the moderator functions I have to discuss as well.

Ok I'm sure this issue has already been brought up. bUt seriously do you people(TP) has no compassion for thos still stuck on dial up? I serisously jsut took me fice minutes to change the color because the darn think woudn't load properly. I kept hacing to refresh th page which ddin't work then had to leave and come back in a couple of different times to get it t load. It shouldn't take this long.
Plus any page just takes forever to load and even longer to get to the scroll down menu for the different forums. Why does the Tp menue get priority over the actual page contents It's ridiculous.

That may not be a bad idea however what you can do for now is utilize the Member Picture Album option now available to all active TP forum members. You can create multiple albums with a maximum of 60 photos. All other members need to do is click your profile and check them out. All you need to do is create a photo album, add pictures and use some self-promotion and you're set ;)
