Has anyone else seen this amazing show?

It's about:
The last Human Being in the universe. - David Lister
The insane Ship's computer (not like Hal) - Holly - later in the series he has a head-sex change!
A hologram of Dave's dead former bunkmate. - Arnold J. Rimmer
A highly evolved cat (though far from intelligent) - Cat
Dave's would-be girlfriend (she returns from the dead, though not really, because she come from another dimension, its complicated) - Kristine Kochanski

This series is extremely well written, so well written that you need to watch a few episodes multiple time to catch all the jokes after seeing more episodes.
It is very funny, smart, dramatic, has some romance, and some tense parts, along with some good action.

Greatest british comedy ever made. And we might be getting another series if the film does well, too. Never a bad thing.

And don't forget Holly had an un-head-sex-change later on. Horribly sad that I can eactually remember most of the plots for all the episodes I've seen...

And don't forget Kriton.

Kryton, and yes, it is a damned funny show!

But we will only get a 9th series if the movie does well. But seeing as how the movie has been dalyed countless times now, I doubt we will ever see what happens to Rimmer.

Oh, an just so you know, the movie was all set to be made, then Peter Jack@$$ decides to go and make King Kong, and not take a year off like he had planned, forcing Weta to drop Red Dwarf and work on King Kong.

Tell me about it, I was so pissed. I still am. I just hope that Weta will still do the effects, but because of the backhand slap they gave to the crew and cast of the Dwarf, they should charge them less

Ah, I've only seen a few stray episodes here and there from late night PBS. I never get to watch it 'cause I don't know what time it comes on... It's a fantastically funny show, though. I absolutely loved the hologram man.

I LOVE Red Dwarf! They used to run it on PBS around here several years ago. I always watched it with my dad. :D
It's one of my favorite British comedies! That and Black Adder too.

I loved this show but it started going down hill once Kochanski came back in it. It just wasn't as funny anymore.
