Hi,

I thought of putting a few lineartpieces here. I haven't been drawing for almost two years now, however, the lpast week I have been drawing like crazy. I actual consider starting drawing anime since realism is killing my interest in drawing... Is waaay to hard to master at my level...

Anyway, here are some faces.

I'm not familiar to drawing this style at all. So I'm really sorry if there are some terrible mistakes. =) Show some mercy. ^^ But I was somhow happy with the result.

And here is a realism art from august 2005.:

Wow! I love clean line art and that is some of the cleanest, sharpest line art I have seen in a long time. Very very nice work. By any chance do you have a sequential art works?

You have a nice style. I like it.

in your realism sketch, the character looks akward mostly because the arms are too short and the neck too thin.

Also, you say that the realism is killing your interest in drawing...First of all, you haven't been drawing for two years, correct? You certainly are doing well for being out of it so long, so don't get discouraged. How long have you been drawing?

And don't give up just because you can't master an art form. Mastering anything usually takes a lifetime. Don't give up, you have potential to be great!

You've been drawing for "two years?" I don't believe you! Your anatomy is really incredible.

Except one thing. That man's hips are like a woman's. Also, his navel is below his waistline. Women's navels are below their waistline, but men's navels are above it.

But still, wow. Two years? I see much money in your future.

Didn't she say "I haven't been drawing for almost two years now"? As in, drew lots before, took a break, now getting back into it? Or am I reading it differently than you?

Also: what you call "realistic" art isn't naturalism/realism at all- it's definitely just as stylized as your other work, just in a different way. And a guy that muscular would probably have a thicker neck, heh.

Super spiffy line art. I like the smoothness of it. I think that the girl's profile is wonky looking though. It looks like her nose, mouth and chin are jutting out too much from the forehead when they should be more aligned with it. (that probably made no sense...)

Aw, why is realism killing your intrest in art? You kinda need it before you start stylizing stuff y'know.

edit: This is what I mean about the profile...

^Actually the nose mouth etc jutting out looks like how alot of anime/manga characters are drawn.

True, but Friera's style is a bit more on the realistic side so it looks kind of off. (well that's just what I think...:} )
