Stanley Kubrick's Dr. Strangelove (Or How I Learned To Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb) is my favorite movie. It's a dark comedy poking fun at the hysteria around commies, and it's very quotable. On the first viewing it seems baffling, unfunny, and incomprehensible, but Dr. Strangelove, like fine wine, ages well with every subsequent viewing. So show Dr. Strangelove some love.

And if you haven't seen it, go see it NOW.

It's not my favorite movie but I like it a lot. Peter Sellers and George C. Scott were both excellent actors.

"Gentlemen, you can't fight in here! This is the War Room!"

Oh man, it's been way too long since I watched that movie! XD

Peter Sellers is one of the most talented actors ever, however, I always crack up at Gen. Ripper's fixation with bodily fluids and Fluoridization.

It not paranoia about the commies, it's about the Bomb.

Its a satire based on the moive, Fail Safe, where the exact same thing happens, but in order to placate the Soviets, they US says "You can bomb one of our cities."

The Soviets pick New York. The catch? the President's wife is in New York, and he can't tell her to leave.

Yes, but you can't claim they don't poke fun at commie hysteria. What can Ripper's fear of having his bodily fluids be taken be but hysteria?
