And the forum-run contests are back with the CABC! First off, a small disclaimer: this contest is run and will be judged by the members of the TPF community, it is not a TOKYOPOP contest. Now that's out of the way, let's go on to the good stuff.
♥ What you need to know:
♥ Create a bishie! Two things are needed basically; a picture of said bishie, and a short profile telling us about him. We're not just looking for a pretty face; create an awesome character. Any art style is accepted, as long as its a guy.
He can be a vampire, chain-smoking attorney, medieval knight, anything. The picture does not have to be full-body. If you want to use an original character you've previously created, go right ahead, but fanart of existing characters from manga, anime, movies etc is not allowed. One entry per person.
♥ When I say short profile I mean short! On the internet we suffer from tl;dr syndrome, so keep it to less than 200 words. Plus, for the convenience of the voters, try to include the profile with the image, something like the pics below, the grey bit being the profile. (These are just examples, you do not have to set up your page exactly like it.)

♥ Nothing too extreme, no nudity, offensive material, or gore. We want everyone to be able to view the images and vote.
♥ When your creation is done, link to it on this thread. You can link to the site where the image is hosted, upload it to Photobucket, whatever works for you. To chat about the contest, or to ask for opinions, go to the thread linked at the bottom of my post. This thread is for linking to contest entries ONLY.
♥ The contest is open starting now and closes June 2nd, that's two weeks to create the perfect bishie of your dreams.
♥ How will this contest be judged? Online voting. We're making the contest and we're judging it.

♥ Finally, prizes! Not only do you get the honor of being voted the winner in an online contest of awesomeness but TMF has agreed to give the three top entries a feature on this site. That means a lot of exposure for your work. Keep in mind that you will need to upload your work to your TOKYOPOP main site profile to receive this. (If you just want to link to your DeviantArt now and upload here later to receive this prize, go ahead.)
Second, first prize winner gets a pair of fully colored Chibis of the characters or people of their choice complete with a background. Second place gets one Chibi with a simple background or some kind of item (plushie, weapon, etc.). Third place gets a Chibi on his/her little lonesome, also colored. I'll upload them to my DeviantArt account within a week or two after the contest ends for you to download, print, whatever you want.
If I win by any chance (because I am definitely entering), I'll still draw the three prizes.
