Silkroad Online (http://silkroadonline.net). A free MMORPG.
I've been playing this game for something like a week now, and I must say that is the best looking free mmorpg I've ever seen. In fact, I could almost swear that it uses the Lineage 2 engine, which was/is quite nice. However, unlike Lineage 2, the gameplay doesn't suck.
Personally, the coolest part of the game is seeing a caravan of 8 camels / party members cruise by you on the road, followed behind by a large number of theifs. Its a huge rolling battle and as such is just cool to see and/or partake in.
The only real problem with the game is the sometimes bad translation job. Oftentimes when you get a quest, it'll tell you to kill one type of creature when in fact you should kill another, etc. Sometimes the descriptions are just plain confusing. However, with a little bit of reasoning you ought to be able to get it figured out. Besides, for a game that was in beta at the start of last month, I think its doing great.
So anyways, I was just wondering if anyone else plays this game? If you don't, you should check it out as its worth the download. Find me on the "Babel" server as VonGrugen. (I haven't picked my profession yet... Leaning towards thief though.)
