Fundraising question

Hey all. My local anime club is holding a fundraiser so we can go to some of this season's cons. We are thinking about selling Japanese candy. Any suggestions?

I suggest you don't try to sell anything that "looks weird" or is an aquired taste. If people can't look at it and go, "yes, that looks familiar enough to eat" - they won't buy it. :)

Voted for "Pocky" as thats the only one i hav actually heard of...

I'm gonna have to say pocky, cause i read a thread about it, and it sounds really appetizing.
The other stuff though, I'm not too sure about.

The Asian Culture Club at my school sold pocky ($5/box I think) as a fundraiser, and I think they did pretty well with that :3

I'd go with Pocky since it's popular and probably the safest choice.
People love Pocky, the go nuts for it.
It would certainly make your fundraiser a success

Although, the milk flavored hard candy would be a good choice, too.

I already love pocky. And since I like chocolate and mushrooms, the chocolate mushrooms I would definitly have to try.

You could also try selling that chewing gum Black Black. I like it better than any american gum, it has a hi-technical taste.

I voted for powky because I love it but I think the milk-flavored hard candy would sell too.

Well... I'd be most likely to buy Pockey out of those, and it looks less foreign than the others.
