As someone who watched The Screen Savers for years I can't stand AotS. It's just so awkward and dumb.

I agree. That show is kinda dumb. Is it a show about games or computers or is it a bunch of idiots making fools of them selfs?
I prefer X-play, but even then (how could they give that retarted Sly game a 5 out of 5??).

I can't tell what the focus of that show is anymore... I miss the Screensavers. It was more focused on technology, and general geek stuff. :) Now, I just feel that G4 in general doesn't want to appeal to a female audience. Sure, the sterotype gamer is male, but they just seem to ignore us female gamers. But, the network seems to be moving away from technology and gaming, and into general entertainment. Which I think, is a shame.

And AotS has the wierdest segments now. o_O; Gah.. I didn't have cable long enough to really appreciate the Screensavers... I first came across it while channel surfing at midnight... But months following it became AotS...

What's worse is that G4 has cancelled all anime and there are hardly any shows that have anything to do with technology or gaming at all. AotS hardly reports on anything gaming or technology related anymore either.

The only thing I like about G4TV is Cinematech where they don't say any bull crap of any games. They just preview games from Japan and here. It's awesome.

Attack of the Show doesn't really suit my interest, however I really HATE X-Play. Especially Adam Sasslar. He just gets in my nerves. Plus the reviews they go out for certain games really are farfetched.

I’m personally not a huge fan of the current Attack of the Show. I use to watch Screen Savers all the time, but then G4 came along. I’m not trying to diss G4 at all; some of the shows the have a really great, but I just miss some of the shows that were around for TechTV.

I personally found that game to be quite fun and enjoyable. The graphics followed suet to the story and game play well and worked, not to mention that it was done smoothly. The story was somewhat cliché though and I was a little disappointed near the ending, but it wasn’t enough to make it a ‘retarted” game.

I will admit that a 5 out of 5 did seem a little out of hand, but I would still find a 4 out of 5 to be a good one; personally. But that’s the thing about these shows. They are rating the games on a personal bases and you cannot rate a game for the general public. Everyone has their own opinions about things, and rating anything like they do is going to bring about some personal opinions into the mix.

Actually not; they still show Anime Unleashed during Friday Nights during the Barbed Wire Biscuit segment. But I will say that their new selections of anime to air are not to my taste.

They also hate anything that is based around or in part to card games; like the Yu-Gi-Oh games. While I will admit that they are not the best games out there, they are still great representations of the card games and work wonders for those that want a quick game without the haste of using real cards.

Animenation reported that they aren't showing any anime anymore but I wouldn't know because I don't watch G4 very often at all anymore.

They don't hate anime, they just hate the games basic on anime series. I mean, you have to admit most games basic on anime shows do suck.

Anime to video game = the suck.
Video game to anime = the suck.

(With a few exceptions.... Please don't let Disgaea suck, Japan... Please!!!!)

I stopped watching AOTS a LONG time ago, so I can't really try and sway anyone's opinions on it. As for X-Play, I find their reviews to be quite enjoyable, especially when they make skits for the sole purpose of telling us how bad/good something is.
