Hay guys, I'm an amateur artist and all that jazz. I'm not that great yet, but one day I hope to be good enough to get into the gaming industry. XP

Here's a quick sketch of one of my original characters, Aden (fitting to first show my character that my name is based on XD):

He doesn't seem to be the yoda-ponderer type to come up with something like that. He seems more 'kill first, think later'. Still, he's one hot badass.You've definitely got 'skillz'.

And yeah, he actually is a kill first, ask questions later kinda character. The dialog was an on the spot kinda thing since my friends said he needed to say something. XD

Haha, Kuda, I'm just still a teen, and definitely not a professional (which amateur means that I draw as a passtime and not as a profession). Nonetheless, I have a lot of work to go if I ever want to make it. XP

I always love getting on to new forums and perusing the art. Sometimes I very pleasently surprised! I like the fanart bit that was posted up. I love inking in different colors than just black!

Don't listen to your friends, lol (joke!). A character doesn't have to say something to create an effect. That's half of what manga is about - how much an image can potray a message, emotion, scene, whatever.

Love both pieces. Especially your original character. He definitely looks like he has personality to boot in that picture. And dear lord! I LOVE the guy in your First Summons. Is that from anything in particular?? Also love your Cupid and Gaijin no Schedule. And love how you signed it Protagonist. Great stuff!! Thanks for sharing these with us!

as far as the dialogue not fitting with the character, true, but if you do it right you can really blow away the stereotype of how a all-wise/mentor character should look.

ooh that looks pretty good, yay for edo! lol but the one thing I must say is that..he doesn't really look mad..he's got like..a mix of expressions on him ^^; the sweatmarks aren't usually something you would put on (well at least that many) when someone is mad..and he kind of looks like he's blushing too...so the expression he is giving out is a little confusing ^^; i would recommend bringing the eyebrows down more to his eye's at a bigger slant like...... .\ /. ...lol yah somethin' like that XD can't do it too well with symbols. Anyways hope that helps!

with the little wink thing i'll say he's being a sarcartic guy....but it just seems to me like something said by a cocky bad ass...
