I own a power pc mac-mini with a G4 processor.
I'm sure most people own PCs though I love my mac and use video game consoles for gaming.
My mac-mini is cute but powerful I use it for animation and comic-art.
Which are all works in-progress!

I've owned both. Like Macs more but PCs are good too.
Currently I have my custom made PC desktop, Thinkpad T61 laptop, and technically I share a Macbook with my sister but she moved out and took it with so ya.

I have a Gateway PC with Windows XP
80 gigs
256 RAM (I'm too cheap to upgrade it)
15 inch flat screen monitor
split keyboard (teh awesome)
I too use consoles for videogaming. I have done some PC games, but mostly just Sims and Amazon Trails. I much prefer consoles.

I had a lap top with plenty of memory and 60 gig harddrive, dvd-r, a fast processor, top of the line as of a little over a year ago... Then my cat knocked my water into it.
Now I'm using a tiny old school Windows ME lap top, it chokes when I play flash videos.

Mine's cardboard. :P
...Just kidding. My case kinda sucks though atm. My brother tried painting it blue but it needs a few more coats and he's too lazy to finish it so at this point he's saying he might just buy me a new case with some spiffy qualities. :3 The computer itself is custom built and runs Windows.

I have a Gateway laptop that I use. That's all I know. I got it over the summer and knew the specs then, but I don't anymore. Um, it has Vista. I don't remember the hard drive or memory or anything anymore. But it seemed pretty decent at the time. And, ah, it's black.

Both of my (now dead) laptops are gateways. The one my brother's been letting me borrow is a Fujitsu life book though (touch-screen).
Didn't see this thread before...
I build all my own (and family) PC expect the first one and the laptop. :D
I build this last year, around summer:
Intel 950D 3.4GHz
4GB of Ram
512MB ATI 1600XT video card
74GB raptor
300GB and 500GB HD
2005FPW LCD
and a Cintiq for drawing.
I think this should last me for awhile since I don't plan to upgrade to Vista anytime soon.:p

I just noticed this. And I have to ask: how much did they pay you to take that copy of ME off their hands?
I mean, wow.

Mine's a Dell Dimension.
I'd really like a Mac, but I'm on a tight budget and the Dell is a hand-me-down.

You took off all the stickers off your laptop? I'm using a Acer laptop with 2GB of memory with an 160GB HDD.

You took off all the stickers off your laptop?Actually, the grey sticker at the bottom left corner has sorta started to come off, so I don't know what it says anymore. All I can read is "Intel Pentium ---" and then it's rubbed off. But I did remember the memory is 2 gig. :D I'm sure there's somewhere I can click to find out what it has, but......why? It does what I want it to. :biglaugh:

It would be nice to have that new Macbook Air. :3
I'd probably get it to do some editing.

I was reading some articles (http://www.macnn.com/articles/08/03/10/macbook.air.confusing/) a few weeks ago about some guy who missed his flight because airport security didn't know what a Macbook Air was. XD

I don't recommend it for editing. Macbook Air is more design for office clerk, and school projects. It doesn't have much space, but i had to admit is a great computer. I recommend the desktop, regular Macbook or Macbook pro:p

Hm. I'll keep that in mind.
Though, I actually prefer getting a new desktop now than a laptop. I already have a laptop, no sense in getting another laptop.
I want to play games D:
