^__^; Since my last post skirted the line of 'Oh no...'

I wanted to share the cover art for our latest project. It's currently being negotiated at this time with a publisher so we're very excited about it. Since this is the cover we made for Book 1 [there are 4 books total] I hope they don't insist we make another. 0_0.

The dude with black hair on the cover reminds me of Arucard from Hellsing...

That page sort of confuses me. Okay let me get this straight.

Dudes motorcycle tire gets shot by some other dude. Then a tire runs over mysterious magic appearing legs?

No. Dude loses control of his bike and runs over dude aiming to shoot someone else. ^_^ And no, he's not Alucard, but Caroline does draw a mean Alucard...you can find her Hellsing art at the DMP fan area or at her deviant site:

HOLY CRAP. That is just...so awesome I can't even describe it. So when is this gonna be for sale? Cause I am (will if/when I get the moneys) totally gonna buy it. Could you tell us some of the story? Or is that one of those things you have to keep secret until it's published? ^^

And I really love the perspective you used on the cover art. It's dark and gloomy, but you added humor to it which I like that a lot.`

I don't want to go into specifcs until the contracts in my hand, but yes, it will be for sale likely by the close of 2007. It's 4 volumes with three written and 2 drawn and that's before an editor rips through and requests revisions. ((>_>))

Once we get a monthly page schedule and other particulars in place then I can give a more round about date and discuss the title more openly.

The coloring on that cover is beautiful, but I'm kind of confused about the paneling in the actual comic page. I can't tell at all what's going on, but maybe it's just because I'm not following a story, so I don't know where characters are in relation to each other.

That cover, though.... nice.
