Good Omens by Terry Pratchet and Neil Gaiman.

I know I can't be the only fan of that lovely little book, now can I? You can't tell me Aziraphale and Crowley haven't got more than a few anime/manga fans out there.

For those that don't know, or read it but don't remember, it's about..well...I guess one critic said it best:
8 billion people die. And it's FUNNY!
^__^ Or, to be a little more specific, it's a humorous look at the apocalypse. Very worth the read, so if you ever get the chance, you should check it out, especially if you like Terry Pratchets work.

So, go on, all you GO fans. Who here loves it too?

I've always wanted to read that one book, mostly because I'm a big gaiman fan, I just never got around to it ;-;

Yeah, I keep meaning to read it. Then I get sidetracked by something else.

XD that's one of the best books ever!

My personal favorite quote:"gayer than a tree full of monkeys on nitrous oxide"

I'm a big Pratchett fan, which prompted me to read Good Omens, which led me to Gaiman, and now I'm a big Gaiman fan, so I'm glad of that xD

I loved this book. I liked Pratchet's Hitchhiker's too. I love all of Gaiman's stuff (and his LJ feed is hilarious.) Sandman is one of my all time favorites too. One of my degrees is in Mythology and American Gods is just . . . awesome.

*laughs* I love that quote too! And the fact that all tapes eventually turn into the Best of Queen XP

Heh, Gneil's LJ feed is hilarious! Have you seen his kitten? She's gotten so big! And so cuuutteee!!

Hitchhikers? I think you're thinking of Douglas Adams there, Blu.

American Gods is just lovely! I love Shadow. I wish I could figure out who the "forgotten" god is (the one who everyone always forgets once he leaves). Any ideas?
