The Pillows have taken over my mind! (No I am not crazy and am aware that pillows do not take over ones mind...) I am talking about the awesome band! Maybe you have heard of them... You know from that smash hit FLCL.

Yeah, I've liked the Pillows ever since I heard the ending song to FLCL. I thought that was so cool

I actually got to see them last year! They rocked harder than I could imagine. It was awesome! They are in my winamp playlist most of the time.

i read an interview with the pillows one time about how they wished american fans would stop listening to FLCL music and listen to the rest of their work.

Heh. I didn't find their work through FLCL. (Did not like the show that much and I watched it to pass the time mostly...) I was looking for some japanese music and found them on this one site and ordered a few CDs to see what they were like.

I don't know if Instant Music is an FLCL song... hmmm...

my mistake, i just re-read the article, and it said that 99% of their fans come from FLCL fans, and they just wanted to encourage fans to branch out more, i dont think they were actually mad. the statement just came off negative towards me. ^^;;

I didn't read it in SB, but I did read it in another magazine.

I don't blame theme, The Pillows have more to their music besides that one song in FLCL. xD

I don't like that song... It feels awkward... "Orange no Slide" "Sponge no Pride" ??? Also the song got annoying after the third time hearing it. ( Sort of like Michael after listening to him try and tell a joke and he messes up and keeps going on and on until e gets it right and by the third time you want to kick him in the shin.......)

I hate that song... *Remembers it blaring from the speakers in Suncoast* That time was so evil! TORTURE! Especially since I had to make a quick decision between Japanese snack foods and manga... *Didn't decide and got the hell out of there...* Apparently the person at the counter was an fan of that song becuase he kept playing it over and over and I was ready to scream at him... I was thrilled the next day when he got in trouble for playing the music too loudly. *Basically because later in the day I complained to the manager about him playing a stupid song so loud that I had no idea what too buy* I am so evil... I think...

Crazy Sunshine and Funny Bunny are also good songs. Yeah...I knew about The Pillows before I knew about FLCL...my friend got me into them. Finding out that their songs were used in the anime was just the icing on the cake. But yeah...The Pillows is one of my FAVORITE bands.

I LOVE THE PILLOWS!!!! They were the band that got me hooked on jrock stuff. I hate FLCL tho'. Sawao Yamanaka's voice is just freakin' awesome.

and yeah, i definitely agree with the indignation at the flcl fans.

I thought that, and have nearly succeeded (just need their Pony Canyon stuff). For that website content writer's thing I gave a review of "MY FOOT": their best album since "Happy Bivouac".

Saw 'em last year; and got Sawao Yamanaka's autograph. I loved it when they played "Swanky Street." The crowd went wild when those first three chords were played. Won't be seeing them this year, sadly, but I know deep down they'll return. Just hope they come to Boston next time.

i heard of The Pillows from watching FLCL i love the show but i love the pillows to i have gotten every cd i can afford to and have listened to WAYYYYY more than just FLCL songs there other stuff is so wicked awesome to if you havnt heardanything that wasnt on FLCL you should look into getting there cd
