I've beaten the first one and im most defantly looking forward to the second one. and im in the middle of beating Chain of Memories, anyone beat that yet? and did anyone else find riku to be a pain in the patella to beat?:mad:

I'm playing Kingdom Hearts now. How do you beat Ansem!Riku (second Riku fight)? I got it so he only had like, one-hit-and-oh-my-god-so-dead, but like... he killed me. I had to stop playing because I was making myself sick.

ansem in KH1 is pretty easy to beat if your at a high level. i think i was at level 65 when i beat him and he was easier then pie. now riku...when i figure out how to beat him...ill tell you, and ill tell the world. and then, ill slap him in the face :)

I don't know what chapter I'm at. I got the game guide, and I make sure my health meter is more then what it is in the game guide. Well, mine is (and I'm using the Metal Chocobo Keyblade too!), and I'm having trouble beating him. Maybe I'm not good enough as a gamer? Like, Sora is perfect, but it's me?

I dunno. I'll go look up some walkthroughs tomorrow. I'm not going to play anymore tonight.

heheh...ya i beat chain of memories and HECK YA! i took me the longest to beat riku. darn i thought it wasn't gonna be that hard! finally i beat him and after that you can unlock and play chain of memories though riku's version of the whole story. i havn't beaten that yet but he sure is fun to play as! :rolleyes:

i've beaten both games and it was great. Chain of memories was easy for me, i caught on to the card thing quick and when i was riku i was always going into dark mode and i had about 60 DP

With Chain of Memories I had no trouble with Sora or Riku's story until I got to the final boss on Riku. I beat it once and it refuses to let me beat it again.

You need to be able to high jump + glide to reach the puppies on the platforms next to the bridge.

it depends, you might might not. becuase who knows if kh2 does a recap type thing at the begining? my husband and i just finished it yesterday and what we did to defeat riku (since we didnt have all 9's) we got our highest cards and did three of those at a time inbetween some 0's and it worked out. we also defeated riku's side too. very interesting, but thank goodness it's over. to be honest that game wasnt very good sadly. very repetitive:(

Been playing KH II.

It's not really important to have played CoM. The first 3 hours of the game is pretty much a prolouge/flashback tieing the first game into this one, and giving a little info on what happened during CoM.

I want a Peter Pan world. I really miss soaring. Having to actually run sucks.

yeah my husband and i have been playing this game practically nonstop (the second one) and we were kinda disapointed that there wasnt any gliding or double jump. and no it isnt necissary to play chain of memories cause as the other guy said, the first 3 hours are a recap that doesnt go into a huge amount of details but covers the basic story. but i like it so far for the most part its a pretty cool story and game :D ahh good ol' kingdom hearts.

Yep, Chain of Memories is a fun game, and since it fills in what happens between KH and KHII, every Kingdom Hearts fan should at least run through it for the story.

Yea, if you're a fan CoM is worth. And even though they explain it in KH2, I don't think you get the full effect of what went on in CoM. And there's little things you might not get right away. Such as: when they reveal the name of the character in my avatar, you would notice something in particular about his name immediately if you had played CoM, which is

actually i found chain of memeories to be really annoying. im not much for card based stuff, so...i geuss youll like it if you like those card games. my husband beat it and it was a really wonderful game and story. i was really happy with the ending too.

question though. arnt sora's, and riku's parents ever worried about them? they never mentioned them! the only time i remember them in the game is where sora's mom calls him down to dinner. what happend to the parents? :S

Er, is this where you solo Riku? Or is it after the last save point? The solo battle was pretty hard, just keep dodge rolling and hit him with strike-raid every chance you get. Always make sure to have cura/curaga hotkeyed or plenty of potions

KH2 is awesome, my only complaint is complete lack of sidequests. At least in KH there was the dalmation hunt.

I actually beat KH2 in four days, it was pretty insane. If anyone has any tips about beating Ansem in CoM, I'm all ears. I'm level 65 and I still can't get him down by half >>;

To beat Ansem!Riku in the first game: make sure you have the Metal Chocobo Keyblade! It's great for whacking; you can kill things in half the number of hits. You can get it from beating Cloud in the Hercules Cup at the Coliseum. Save your MP for Cura. Dodge roll a lot when he's dashing around, and when he starts floating in the air for Dark Aura, get up and glide and stay gliding until he lands. If you're on the ground, Dark Aura's going to do you in. Just back him into a corner and whack away, and dodge roll/glide the rest of the time!

Well during the first game his mom calls out to him when the Islands are being attacked by the heartless. However in the second game almost everyone has forgotten about Sora so you know his parents prob'ly weren't worried at that point. Thats all i can really come up with though. haha

Currently my Normal mode team is:

- Sora, Donald Goofy - level 99's with Ultima Weapon for them all (apart from Sora, using the Keyblade you get from beating Sephiroth)

- All level 7 Drive Forms (Valor > Final) and level 7 Summon command.

- All treasures, maps, missions and mini-games completed.

- Book of Pooh finished, level 9 (Primo) Moogle synthing with all items able to be synthed.

- Beaten Sephiroth (was easy!, gonna film my Proud mode tactic, forgot to on Standard :( ).

Not too bad, and around 50k munny along with 55+ hours of playing.

Whoa!!!! How the heck did you defeat Sephiroth?!!! That A$$hole is a pain. cheap bastard Anyway, also how about the Orichalcum + how did you get it to create the Ultima Weapon?

Sephiroth was easy, but it was probably the tactic that I used :P , very easy way.

Sephiroth:

- Before battle, equip ONLY "Elixers" to Sora. Also, ENSURE that your drive guages are full as well as HP and MP bars.
- Equip the strongest keyblade (I was using Ultima) and also the strongest armour/defence items and accessories as you can.
- You NEED to have Arial Dash and Arial Sweep, also equip the "Beserk Charge" to get more hits and stronger damage.
- Essential for this battle is the skill "Once Again", which leaves you with 1HP after a massive damage combo.

Now, then main battle:

- When it starts, and I mean as SOON as the before battle intro comes on (Sephs music starts up), get ready and tap "Triangle" to avoid Seph's slashing attacks and to get him stunned to attack.

- Never use more than 1 chain of attacks. If you miss and attack or its gets deflected, go back to defencive mode and wait for another opening. His combo move will take nearly all if not all your HP away, this is where "Once Again" comes in handy.

- Once you get a few bars of health from him down, he starts using new attacks, which are harder to dodge, so start by going to the "Limit" and constantly use "Trinity" to deal mass damage to him (taking off a few life bars per use). Then use an Elixer and repeat until you have all your Elixers used or you beat him.

- If he isn't beaten yet, transform to your strongest Drive Form and attack, but remember to watch out for his attacks still.

When you beat him, go back and tell Cloud Sephy wants to fight - Clouds in the first area with the Moogle Synth and Scrooges Salt-Sea ice crean shop.

Then after talking to Cloud, go back and talk to Sephy to see a cutscene. When its over, Tifa rewards you with a new Keyblade (can't remember the name), but its stronger than the Ultima Weapon!.

For the Orichalcum+'s , it says you need 14, but infact theres only 7 in the game!. Thats why you only get 7 (from pretty much doing all of the Journal and getting 1k moogle ingredients). Now when you have all the other synth items (Twilight shards, gems etc), make sure you have a Serenity Shard to cut the "S" item required in half, meaning you only need 7 Orichalcums +. Then you can create the Ultima Weapon for Sora. 2nd best strength/power in the game and its special is MP Hastega.

Sephiroth is really easy in #2... Especially with all of those reaction commands and Form Abilities like double jump, glide, etc. I beat him around lvl 60, although I saw someone else crush him in Proud at lvl 44.

The only challenge of the game was getting enough points from the tournaments. I still can't do it. Annoying the crap out of me. What do points come from!? I've completed every other Jiminy Record, though.

Points? as in the Hades Cup and stuff?. The enemies you defeat drop Yellow Orbs that count as points.

You get more orbs the better you fight and also if you defeat enemies better than normal you enter a double score mode (orbs double in points).
The only one I have yet to complete (the ONLY thing left in my Journal to complete) is the Hades Paradox Cup. Its mentally hard... I got to level 37 or so and then died... its unbelievably hard.

What do they mean by the better you fight, though? Not getting hit often or what?

Not getting hit, and being able to chain together attacks, ie: do a combo on ground, hit square to knock into air and do an air combo, if the enemy dies before the combo finishes, you can try and continue the air combo with another enemy.

Its kinda hard, but once you get the knack, you can pretty much finish and entire level only touching the ground once and being in the air the rest of the time.

I just really hope that in KH3 they will make the enemies more tougher because from 1 and 2 even on the hardest difficulty its still very easy. And Sephiroth is still not as challenging as they said to be. I remember in KH1 he only took my 3 tries and I defeated him (that was when I have only lvl 86, but it did take a long long time). And in KH2 he was easier than in KH1 IMO. So I really hope that they will have a extra difficulty in KH3 so more challenge ^^

Both me and my friend beat kh1 and kh2...well she gets most of teh credit becasue we took turns but i just know that battle riku was easier then ooggie boggie:mad: now that was a horrible fight it took us two or three days straight to finally beat him...but kh1 is so much harder then kh2...i think my friend beat kh2 in a week when the other one took us a month or two...

Yes, KH2 is ridiculously easy. The only hard part was the fight with the Organization member with the bunch of lances in Beast's Castle. Ridiculously hard. Sephiroth is also much easier. Reaction commands are just a bit cheap, but fun to use I guess.

Ah, Kingdom Hearts. I love that game.
Although I'm going to beat it sooner than later. Anyone know a good RPG I could play, like Kingdom Hearts? I hate Final Fantasy. o__o;; And I really like the way you battle in Kingdom Hearts, i.e. just running up to the ennemy and hitting him as opposed to a drop-down menu with options on what to do. e.e;

yeah. he was the hardest to beat compared to the rest of the organization. i was able to beat him the first time in normal mode but in hard mode i had to level up to 53 to beat him.

I kinda think that Xigbar was the hardest. I had to get to level 64 to beat him. He really got on my nerves for a minute...either way, i still beat the game. When GMR interviewed Tetsuya Numora, he said Kingdom hearts 2 would be easier than Kingdom hearts. Kind of a let-downer.
