How long have you had your town/game?
How many residents do you have right now?

Just some questions I thought would be fun to answer (if you feel like it).

I've had my town since February. I was trying to get the game before Christmas, but I didn't have enough money.

There are only 7 residents in my town right now. Is it even possible to get more?

I just made my third upgrade today, so I'm getting the second story to my house. It's going to cost me millions to get the final upgrade. D:

Don't have any cool items, really. :(

Heh! My favorite villager right now is Lucky. He's awesome. I wish Bob the cat would move into my town. I had him in my town back on the Cube version.

Don't have a friend code yet, 'cause I've only done the multipalyer from DS to DS.
I need to get someone to buy something from Tom Nook's store in my game, though, so he'll upgrade to Nookington's.

Have the full quote of residents, whcih i believe is 7, I've got a second story on my house, can't be bothered getting the next three upgrades. Rare items? Most of the pirate set. So, an 8th villager moved into my town this morning, but one of the others was planning on moving out. I talked to him and told him to stay, but I dunno if 7 is the maximum or not. Technically, 8 is since there are currently 8 villagers in my town.

If you like AC, then get Wild World.
Basically, it has everything you can do in the old one, but they've now added a multiplayer aspect which is AWESOME.
There are more items, events and villagers and whatnot.

I'm guessing that they may even start making downloadable updates and stuff. Maybe.

I love Animal Crossing, but it definitely isn't a game for everyone.

Yea, I bought a ModChip and had Animal Forest imported back in May '01.
I thought it sounded fun, and odd, so i wanted to try it, cause most odd games don't come to the states. pissed me off when they relaesed the updated Animal Crossing over here.

I don't think that the game is region specific, so you shouldn't have any issues connecting to the net with it.

The wireless service is global, if I'm not mistaken. It you're accessing the net from the UK, then it's going to access the net through the UK. :)

This game is awsome and its doing pretty good on sales in Japan (more than 2million copies). DS,GBA,NES,SNES,N64 (you got it already) games are not region specific, and I dont think you are going to have a problem connecting to the wireless service.

Series or Themes?

In you AC home, do you try to stick to a theme, or an item series?
There is a difference between the two, in case some of you didn't know.
I try to stick to a series, but there are some pretty cool theme items, too. That's why I can't wait to get a second room. Then I can decorate my rooms seperately with a series and a theme.

The HRA gives you a gift once you get a certain amount of points.

70,000 points = One story model
100,000 points = Two story model
150,000 points = Mansion model

I've only gotten the one story model so far.

I can show you how to get a friend code if you want. It's really quite simple.

Now question for everyone. Does anyone have all the emotions from Shrunk? Cause seriously, he never shows up my town! Either that or I'm never there when he does. I only learned 2 new expressions and that's it. V_V

I'm not really sure. There's a lot if I recall. I mean the only ones I know is Laughter (Cause I need to use it when I make people fall on those pit holes) and shyness (Aka. Blushing. Heh).

I think there's at least 8 expressions out there. But that's my guess. I want to buy the stradegy guide.

I've only got two, 'cause I'm never at home when Dr. Shrunk is around.
The strategy guide lists 8 different emotions:

As for the downloads: I'm not sure, really. I just know that they are available.
There's a mention in the strategy guide about special downloaded items.
I'm guessing there's probably stuff available through the Animal Crossing home page. Probably around holidays and stuff.

I mix themes *and* series all the time, even though it docks my HRA theme. I like to create my own look... but I always hate how I get low scores... ¬.¬

Actually, my score is saved a lot by item series, because I theme my rooms based on what I would "use" them for in real life. Right now I have a bedroom/living room (ground floor), a kitchen/dining room (upstairs) and a bathroom (2nd ground floor room). I also do end up sticking to a theme some because theme items and things do tend to look better together. Most of my upstairs is ranch, my bathroom is mostly oriental. My ground floor is kind of a mish-mash, though...it has quite a bit of regal stuff.

Got a bunch of mixed items, too, though. Like the Lucky Cat and Lucky Black Cat. Still trying to find the Lucky Left Cat.

What are your favorite and most annoying characters?

The one I hate the most is Curly. An example of his speech: "Hey, I prepared a pop quiz for you! Which of these muscles do I like the best? Arms, Back, Abbs, or Glutes?" you pick something and then he says, "WRONG! The correct anwser is "Each and every one of them" (sounds too weird)! He is so messed in the head.

The one I like the most is Savannah, a zebra. I also like Static, a blue squirrel. I told him to call me Onee-chan! ^_^

I was just playing AC on my break, and Gulliver's ship came flying by, so I used my golden slingshot to shoot him down, and then my game just kinda froze. o_O

The music was still playing, the clouds were moving, and my character was swaying side to side, but the normal message from Town Hall, when an unidentified object crashes in the twon, didn't appear.

Has this ever happened to anyone?

Actually, there is one hting that annoys me. There appear to be only three male personalities and three female for the animals living in the town. So right now I have a bunch of neighbours who I don't particularly like becasue they're just "copies" of the villiagers who were there before but've since left. I'm actually letting everyone leave in the hope I can eventually get back to the set who were there at the satrt.
