Where and how do you get your Anime or Manga?

I personally go to a shop called Blue Beetle Comics, its about a half hour drive from my home, They have pretty much everything, and if they don't they have no problem ordering it in. i buy pretty much all my manga there, for anime however I use http://surf4vcddvd.com/, Its all refurbished DvDs, but theyre as good as new, extreemly cheap and very quick on the delivery, I get pretty much all my orders, at my door, within 48 hours of placing my order.

Starclipper (http://www.starclipper.com/) is the store I go to when I'm in the city, but because I live about an hour+ away, I usually stick to Barnes & Noble or I order in from Amazon. I buy from some LJ users who need money and are selling their manga too - I like that option for volumes that are hard to find in this area. I'm finally completing Marmalade Boy thanks to someone on LJ.

Illegal methods! Nah, not really. I work next to a Barnes & Noble, so I simply walk next door to lose my paycheck to manga. For anime, I tend to frequent Fry's Electronics since they're the same price as most anime shops, and tend to have some very obscure series on sale(like all of Silent Mobius for $20).

I get all of my manga from my local bookstore. They're fantastic. They have a great selection and if they don't have what I'm looking for, they'll order it for me. And whatever they can't get for me, I'll order online, usually from the publisher's website (main example: Be Beautiful manga titles).

A lot of my anime I get from Ebay as I find I am able to get it for cheaper and for the amount I buy, that's definitely a bonus. Whatever I don't get from Ebay, I order in from my local music/dvd store.

Where I live, there aren't any stores I know of that have a good selection... which is very sad. When I go to Norway, Oslo, there's a store there that has tons of manga and it's absolute heaven... never seen a more beautiful store... I want to be locked in there :p

Since I'm living in Norway, buying manga or dvd's in a physical shop tends to be very expensive. The prizes are very high compared to the original price of the products, due to Norway's high import taxes.

So I buy my manga from justmanga.com (great service, good prices and never had a problem with them) making sure I keep each batch of products under 22€ so that I don't have to pay customs and extra taxes for it when it arrives at the customs depot.

For dvd's that's often a problem (at least when buying whole shows) and they often tend to end up as pricey as the ones they carry in the shops. So sometimes I buy them in the shops and other times on playcom, amazon or wherever I find a good deal :)

Well I don't know why here (Greece) manga/anime are so limited, yet there is only two stores that I can find complete series and variety. So I mostly buy them there or order them online.

Recently I've bought some from Berlin where I've been. I should tell you that I've been stunned by the variety of stuff in this store! There I bought the groundwork of NGE series something I did not even know that existed!

The majority of my anime comes from Robert's Anime Corner Store (http://www.animecornerstore.com). They have just about every liscenced anime and manga in existence. Plus they sell everything from Pocky to NGE zippo lighters. Thier shipping is fast also. Plus it's about 15% cheaper than any of the anime in Suncoast or at Best Buy.

Kinokuniya Bookstores Sydney. 10% discount membership card. They have a huge section dedicated to manga. You can order stuff in aswell. They're pretty much the best bookstore chain on earth! But I get the occasional random manga set at Hondarake Sydney too.

I buy everything from Amazon. Amazon Prime was perfect for me. Two day shipping free? And they went back and refunded me shipping for four times the cost of the membership when I emailed them when I signed up. I had lots of preorders pending that had previously been charged shipping for... It was like Christmas.

And have you seen the cost for shipping on books? Insane. Take my advice, give Amazon $79 for a years worth of "free" two day shipping, it is well worth it if you buy books and especially hardcover novels.

To tell every one all the books and video (Best Buy) stores are with in 5 minutes from my home by car.
