Has anyone read or even heard of for that matter of The Children of the Red King series? I've read the first 4 and can't wait for the 5th one to come out! My fave character is Manfred Bloor!:D

I have had my fair share of red color based kings... (The crimson king in The Dark Tower Series...) Anyway what is this novel series about?

Yes, they are the Charlie Bone books. I don't have much time right now but I'll explain more about them later.

The Charlie Bone books are ALOT like the Harry Potter books though. If you like Harry Potter you would probably like them. They're about this king who was dressed in red (hence the title). You see he was this great magician and each of his 10 kids inhereted some of his power. After the queen died the king left and 5 of his kids turned to evil, and 5 of his kids were on the side of good. Then Charlie comes in. You see he and some others at his school are endowed with certain powers that they got from the red king. You see they are all his decendants. Basically the rest is about the battle between good and evil and stuff like that. You really should read them!
